Welcome to the Vietnam Veterans Of America, Berks County Pennsylvania, Chapter 131 web site. This site was made to be a place where Veterans of all Branches of the Military, Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard can get information on what is going on in the Berks County Pennsylvania area.
It is open to Veterans, Wife's, Husbands, Mothers, Fathers, Children, Brothers, Sisters, Grandparents, and Friends of any Veteran, living or deceased. Please take the time to share any information you would like so that others may know about you, or someone you know who was in the military during Vietnam, whether served in country or out of country. Everyone no matter what is welcome.

The Berks County Combined Veterans Council meets at 7:00pm at the Berkshire Family Restaurant on State Hill road on the third Wednesday of the month. If you would like dinner arrive at 6:00pm. You are encouraged to attend their meeting.

  2024 CALENDAR OF EVENTS

NOTICE - IMPORTANT
The Berks County Veterans Affairs Etchberger Veterans Center is moving in order to better provide trauma-informed care and more private facilities to accommodate our hometown heroes and their changing needs.  While we will still offer services with the same hours at the 726 Cherry St, Reading location for the next few weeks, we will tentatively be moving our full-time operation to 20 Commerce Drive, Wyomissing, 19610, conveniently located off Broadcasting Road in Spring Township.   When we have a concrete date to move, we will let you know.

The golf outing is sold out !!!

September 15 - 15th Annual Golf Outing at Rich Maiden Golf Course in Fleetwood. Maximum participation at Rich Maiden golf course on Rich Maiden rd off Highway 222 in Fleetwood is highly encouraged beginning at 7:00am

September 18 – Air Force’s Birthday. ✈🚀
September 19 - 2:00pm: AVVA Reception for veterans who reside at Phoebe Berks village on Reading Dr in Wernersville. All are encouraged to attend,
September 20 – POW/MIA Recognition Day - Candle Light Vigil 7 PM Vigil on National POW/MIA Recognition Day at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in City Park, Reading. All are encouraged to attend.
